*Owner Builder forms are required in addition to a building permit application only in instances when homeowners are acting as their own general contractor. (Required by the state on new homes and remodels or additions done by owner.  *Accessory buildings do not require an Owner Builder form.)
Submitting Permits
Permits are to be submitted online with the link below. 
​If you wish to submit hardcopies, drop them off at city hall located at 1896 North 1800 West, Farr West, UT 84404 (additional fees do apply).

​*Please note, for any commercial and/or residential developments, site plan approval must be given prior to building permit submittal.  Site plan applications cannot be submitted through the building permit portal, they must be submitted, along with the appropriate fees, to the main office.  Please contact 801-731-4187 if you have questions regarding the site plan approval process.
Inspections
To schedule inspections call 801-731-4187
Inspections will be conducted between 7:30am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday
Please note: 
  • 24 hours notice is required on all inspections
  • No inspections will be done on Fridays
  • Inspection reports can be emailed, please include an email address on the permit of where you want them to go.
