FARR WEST RECREATION DEPT.

The Farr West City Recreation Center is a community rec center that offers several different activities and programs to help residents and non-residents of every age in achieving their health goals. The Farr West Rec Center contains a fully equipped fitness/exercise center, a full-size basketball court, and volleyball set-up. The Farr West Rec Center also sponsors several youth sports programs including basketball, flag football, and baseball/softball. Please see the links to the side for information about specific programs.

Youth Fishing Club

The Spring Youth Fishing Club registrations will be open on March 14th and will stay open until full. The class is limited to 25 kids. Class will be held every Saturday from April 23rd until May 14th, from 9-10:30 am.

No fishing license required for youth 11 and under. We require that the youth be accompanied by at least one adult/guardian.

Cost is $10 and includes a hat along with other fishing "goodies".

Youth t-ball, baseball and softball

Farr West City Recreation Youth t-ball, baseball and softball signups, March 1st through March 31. Season starts beginning of May!
Kindergarten - 2nd grade: $55 (includes a jersey)
3rd - 9th grade: $60 (includes a Salt Lake Bees jersey)

Pickleball Open Play

Indoor Pickleball open play is available from 7am-10am daily Monday-Friday. Admission for open play is $2.00. Punch passes are available at the front desk for regular players. For more information about Pickleball contact the Recreation Center directly at 801-409-0077. Outdoor pickleball courts are located at the Smith Family Park at 2441 W 4000 N Farr West, UT 84404.

Monday - Thursday: 5am-11am, 3pm-8pm
Friday: 5am-11am, 3pm-7pm
Saturday: 8am-Noon
Sunday: CLOSED
